Geno's Steaks Grand Opening and Cheesesteak Cutting

Geno Vento and Cherry Hill Mayor Susan Shin Angulo attended the ceremonial Cheesesteak cutting at Foodiehall on Thursday, signifying that iconic Cheesesteak purveyor Geno's Steaks has officially crossed the Delaware River and come to Cherry Hill. Mascot Whizzy, along with a host of invited guests watched Geno entertain the crowd and work with the Foodiehall staff to ensure that Geno's Cheesesteaks are consistently prepared to his liking. Fresh sliced ribeye, soft Liscio's rolls and of course creamy Whiz make the iconic sandwich.  NBC's Keith Jones interviewed Geno prior to the event which was also covered by ABC, FOX, and other local media.
